There is a lot to consider when participating in a trade fair. Beforehand you must prepare a number of things and invite your relations. During the fair you want to get as much out of your participation as possible. And after the fair, you want to give the visitors you spoke to the best possible follow-up. 1. What makes you unique?
What makes your company unique? What makes your product different and more innovative than those of your competitors? And why should potential customers choose you?
2. What is included in my EasyGo marketing package?
Part of your participation in an Easyfairs event is the EasyGo package. This package helps you get in touch with more potential customers. We make your participation even easier through digital marketing technologies such as My Easyfairs, the Smart Badge Reader and the Visit Connect web application.
There are three different packages: EasyGo Leads, EasyGo Plus & EasyGo Premium. Have you forgotten which one you closed?
Then look at your participation confirmation in your email or log in to My Easyfairs and view your package under your participation.
Whatever package you have, EasyGo makes generating and following up on leads easier. In the appendix you will find an overview of all components.
To upgrade your package, you can go to My Easyfairs, management mode and then go to View Packages at the top. Request a quote here or contact your sales contact.

7. This is how to promote your participation
Promoting your participation and organization is simple. The video on the right explains it all exactly step by step.
Participating in this service is easy. You upload the contact list (max. 3000 addresses) in our secure environment in My Easyfairs and we will then provide a professional and personal invitation with your company name on it.
Once you are logged in to My Easyfairs you can fill in your company information if you have not already done so. Once this has been completed, you will arrive on the page where you will receive an overview of all the options to complete your profile. You can add products, innovations, news items and vacancies here.
We have ready-to-use marketing material that you can download in My Easyfairs. You can use this marketing material 1:1, for example in a newsletter, social media or mailing.
8. Time to follow up your leads
After the event, it’s time to contact all the people who want to know more about your company and your products.
9. Provide more visibility by optimizing your company profile
Your participation starts before the event has started. Complete your profile on My Easyfairs to give visitors the opportunity to get to know your company.
As a first step, fill in all the basic information about your company. Also write a piece of text about what the visitor can expect from you as an exhibitor.
With an EasyGo Plus or Premium package you also have the option to upload your logo.
The final step is to add the business category.
You can easily view your own profile via our website. You can find your own profile through participants in alphabetical order.
10. Welcome more visitors to your stand by using the Invitation Service
Without business cards and everything in a digital overview! Easyfairs has specially developed the Smart Badge Reader and Visit Connect to capture leads during an event in a sustainable and efficient way.
We offer 2 digital options to directly record visitor information. The Smart Badge Reader and Visit Connect are designed to easily capture visitor information.
Easygo is a service package based on the latest developments in digital marketing technology.
It’s part of Easyfairs’ standard package, but you can choose one of three packages that best suits your goals.
Visit Connect is an online environment that you can use on your smartphone or tablet. With Visit Connect you can easily collect information from visitors to your stand. By scanning the visitor badge with the tool, you will receive all the data you need for lead follow-up.
- Do I know how many Smart Badge readers are in my package?

11. Increase the number of leads by making maximum use of Smart Badge technology
During the trade fair you collected leads digitally with the Smart Badge Reader and Visit Connect. Of course you would like to follow this up. In this video we show you how to easily receive, download and follow up on your leads.
On the last day of the fair, our team will be happy to collect your Smart Badge Reader from you about an hour before the fair closes. Would you like to leave it there for a little while longer ? Then you can hand it in yourself at the exhibitor desk at the end of the fair.
Qualify your leads with Visit Connect
The leads from Visit Connect are immediately visible in the Visit Connect Web browser.
You will receive the leads from the Smart Badge Reader after the fair when the reader has been returned.
You will receive an email from us in which you can download your leads in the My Easyfairs environment.
13. Why do you need two lead generation tools?
The use of the Smart Badge Reader is initiated by the visitor. The visitor decides whether or not to hold his Smart Badge against the reader. Visit Connect is initiated by the exhibitor. During a conversation you can determine whether the visitor can be a potential customer. You can then scan their Smart Badge with Visit Connect.
14. Checklist and important deadlines
Checklist
Make sure you have entered the correct company name and that you have registered all your stand crew.
Make sure that all your printing has been submitted to us and that you have provided your stand map for electricity etc.
Make sure you have submitted your stand design to us for approval. We would also like to know whether you need storage or forklifts.
Make sure that you have arranged and communicated everything regarding furniture.
There are various options for your stand. We can help you with all your worries, otherwise we would like to receive more information about the stand.
