Research is currently underway to study the impact of 5G on the behavior of our bumblebees! Additional bumblebee boxes have been strategically placed in the greenhouse at varying distances from the 5G antennas. By equipping these boxes with smart sensors, we can measure fascinating differences in the bumblebees’ behavior.
This study is conducted by Job Ammerlaan, a student at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, under the supervision of Sam Aerts, associate lector of Smart Sensor Systems, in collaboration with the Do IoT Fieldlab. Weโre also excited to announce that our partner Koppert is actively involved in this wonderful project!
