Greenhouse vegetables will now be grown CO2-negative

KUBO has introduced the world’s first carbon-negative greenhouse. This groundbreaking innovation makes it possible to produce the largest quantities of fresh vegetables with lower fossil energy consumption and lower costs per kilo than conventional greenhouses. The carbon-negative greenhouse extracts CO₂ directly from the outside air, instead of adding it, which significantly reduces the ecological footprint. The system is based on the Ultra-Clima® Greenhouse, in which the climate and ventilation are optimised in such a way that the plants can absorb their own CO₂, resulting in lower energy and raw material consumption.
