The Hortizon, developed by DivisionQ in collaboration with Bransen Group, is an innovative solar collector specifically designed for the horticultural sector. This market-ready prefabricated product offers growers a sustainable and efficient way to heat their greenhouses. The Hortizon uses heat and cold storage and a heat pump to convert solar energy into heat, resulting in a fossil-free heating solution.
The energy is stored in the soil in the summer and used to heat the greenhouse in the winter. The Hortizon is fully modular and easy to install on roofs or ground level, and can be placed on sheds, business premises or other suitable surfaces. With the Hortizon, DivisionQ and Bransen Group want to contribute to the energy transition in greenhouse horticulture, giving growers in the Netherlands and Europe the opportunity to heat fossil-free.
