Perlite is an environmentally friendly product with an open structure, a rough surface and many capillaries, so that the pellets contain a lot of air and can absorb moisture well.
MeeGaa Substrates uses perlite as an additive in substrates to increase the air content and to obtain better drainage of the substrate. Perlite reduces the shrinkage of potting soil mixtures, promotes water absorption and ensures a stable structure.
Perlite is often used in blends for ebb / flow.
