ICOS watercover

ICOS are 17x 17 cm lightweight, solid, robust and durable anti-evaporation covers, made of recycled food-grade plastic, filled with approx. 40 cl of water. ICS provide approximately 40% less water evaporation than with a classic tarpaulin. It keeps the water cooler in the warm periods, which also limits increasing the development of germs. It also ensures that algae formation is prevented. In addition, it helps to stop birds from staying on the water – when they want to land on the basin, Icos will tumble and go under water for a while. ICOS are easy to install on both full, half-full or empty basins, they adapt to any water level and distribute themselves equally over the water surface. They fit any shape of the basin and maintain continuous and permanent access to the water – no hindrance. They require no maintenance or supervision and have an expected lifespan of 20 years. ICOS are produced in Flanders (Belgium) from recycled food-grade PP (short chain)
