CLICFLOATS

ClicFloats is a flexible and strong mounting system for floating solar panels, produced in Flanders – Belgium. Easy and quick to install, metal-free, without sharp edges, easy to maintain (every panel is always accessible), circularly developed: durable, recyclable.
The dimensioning of the anchoring is calculated in function of the soil type, the depth of the water, the size of the floating PV installation and the expected wind forces.
The water provides a natural cooling of the panels and provides approximately 10% more green energy yield compared to PV installation on the ground or roof. The PV panels cover the water surface and thus help to keep the water cooler and prevent algae formation by not letting the sunlight shine on the water.
