The Dutch Powerhouse Monarch produces a light output of up to 4020 μmol/s, with an efficiency of 3.6 μmol/J. This makes the Monarch the most compact and powerful LED fixture on the market. Oreon was the first to introduce LED lighting in greenhouses in 2009, and now, more than 10 years later, Oreon once again presents a world-class LED fixture.
Efficient in many ways
All Oreon’s Dutch Powerhouses operate with a unique water-cooling technique. This enables the compact Monarch to achieve a light output of up to 4020 μmol/s at an energy consumption of 1120W. That means even more light and fewer fixtures in the greenhouse. The result is not only a lower investment and lower installation costs, but perhaps more importantly: less sunlight being blocked in the greenhouse. Replacing a 1000W HPS fixture with the Monarch lets a grower provide around 80% more light on his crop.
